Optional student participation in the Commonwealth Bank School Banking program is facilitated by the P&C. Participants are able to bank at school, giving them hands-on banking experience in a fun and interactive environment whilst assisting them to develop essential saving and smart money skills.
Opening an account
Students must have a Youthsaver Account for School Banking. Parents can request such an account by:
- visiting any Commonwealth Bank Branch and providing relevant identification for your child and yourself (such as Drivers' License and Birth Certificate)
- going online if you are already a Commonwealth Bank customer with Netbank or
- requesting a form from the school coordinator.
Once registered, students are then provided with their Dollarmites Deposit Wallet to be used with future transactions.
