What we offer

Each school in NSW offers something slightly different depending on the community. Here's what we offer for you.

All canteens in NSW public schools must meet certain requirements. These include providing more healthy food and drink options – to make the healthy choice an easy choice for students. Visit Healthy school canteens to learn more.

Students can order their delicious, healthy lunch every Monday, Wednesday and Friday online from

Fresh, seasonal food is prepared by the school canteen at Dobroyd Point Public School and delivered to school just in time for lunch. There is a wide variety of food available, all free of artificial flavouring, preservatives and colouring.

Register online through Flexischools and then order your lunch the night before or by 8:30am on the day.

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Uniform Purchases via The Nicho Shop only from March 2021

Please note that as of the beginning of March 2021, all uniform purchases will be online via the Nicho Shop and not via Flexischools.

Should you wish to order pre-loved uniforms, you can also do this via the form on this site.

This system allows parents and community members to place orders from home, work or school at any time. The payment is also done online, so no bags, cash, cheques, and envelopes are sent via your child(ren) to school.

Uniforms will continue to be delivered to your child's classroom once a week - usually a Thursday or Friday. Alternatively, you may like to pick up the uniform from our school office.

The uniform shop is managed by volunteers, so should you feel like helping out, please contact parent volunteer, Devina Solanki at:

The uniform shop also holds second hand stalls about once a term, so if you have any Nicholson Street school uniforms that could be sold on, please bring them washed and folded to the school office. All profits raised from the selling of uniforms go back to the school to benefit the students.
